Today over than 6 billion humans live on the earth and according to this data in 2100's the population of the world is going to be expected as 11,1 billion. That means if the rate of construction in the cities continues with this speed, humankinds are not going to find any piece of earth to build shelters, to breed foods in the future. The project focuses on ecological change and adaptation caused by humankind's interventions into existing ecosystems, the interbreeding of biology and technology give birth to strange new environments. Here we deal with ecology in the broadest sense, as the science of how living creatures relate to one another and to their environment. The project featured in Utopia, depict absolutely new kinds of architecture and radically innovative concepts of urbanity that might well become reality in years to come. Green dice is a vertical algea bio-reactor and new public commons, built with custom prefabricated modules. The modularity of the units anticipates future deployments on other sites. As an reconfigurable structure, the voids between generate a network of vertical public parks, botanical gardens, agriculture gardens, housing unique plant species. Algea solution on the surfaces uses sugar and cellulose to create bio-fuels and simultaneously helps reduce CO2 with O2 during photosynthesis. An on-site robotic armature is designed to reconfigure the modules to maximize algea growth conditions and to accomodate evolving spatial and programmatic conditions. This is an anticipatory architecture, capable of generating new-micro urbanism that is local, easy to assembly and carbon net positive. An instant architecture, designed with an intention towards its afterlife, this is a pre-cycled architecture. more info
